Eat CPH | Relæ

Michelin *

Relæ opened in august 2010 in the once bleak but now flourishing street of Jærgersborggade. What used to be a place for drug pushers is now full of exciting new shops, coffee bars and even a porridge eatery. Relæ is not a common restaurant, it’s a place that challenges traditional concepts and challenges you, the diner. In fact it’s the most cutting-edge, avantgarde place in Copenhagen. Former Noma sous chef Christian F. Puglisi, famous for his gastronomic talent, opened restaurant Relæ with (also ex-Nomadian) Kim Rossen in August 2010. Relæ offers a set menu and a vegetarian menu each of 4 courses, and an optional wine menu.

Puglisi applies modern techniques and creates really unique and new taste combinations. How about poached celeriac, pickled seaweed, and taggiasche olive? It might seem strange in writing but is pure genius to the palate. Relæ follows no strict Nordic dogma, but combines Nordic produce with Italian olives and truffles as well as French cheeses.

Open: Wednesday – Saturday dinner
