Eat CPH | Uformel

I love the current trend of gourmet restos opening bistros: So many more lovely places to go. The most recent spin off is Uformel, a smaller brother to the excellent, Michelin starred high end bistro Formel B (a personal favourite of mine). Uformel follows the same concept as Formel B and its wonderfully situated sister restaurant Restaurant Sletten north of Copenhagen: A fixed price on all dishes – as of writing DKK 100,- per dish (Formel B is 130,- per dish). As with many newly opened places the acoustics are a bit off, but I guess they’ll fix this eventually. The food is very Formel B, very elegant and delicate, albeit a bit simpler composed than at big brother B. The wine list is just as outstanding, though. Even though the dishes are all entre-sized, I sufficed with three courses – guys should probably go for the fourth as well. Lovely place, great value, great food! Comes highly recommended.
