Eat CPH | Bæst

Bæst is brother to Relæ and Manfreds&Vin – yet another restaurant in Christian Puglisi’s and Kim Rossen’s small empire of restos in the northern part of Copenhagen.

Bæst is a pizzeria and charcuteri, but then again, so much more than that. Most of the sausages and hams are homemade – as in the building itself – and all of them are certified organic and utterly delicious. The always less then 24 hours old, homemade mozzarella (yes, they make cheese every day) is ridiculously good. Best I’ve ever had.

Cool interior, excellent wine list, and if you fancy a cocktail before or after your set menu or pizza, they are great too.

  • Thank you for all your input! We are coming in May from SF. and I just haven’t found the info I was looking for yet..until now! I will revise my list. thank you Karen

  • I am loving your blog and thrilled to have found it! I am traveling to Copenhagen at the end of October, 2015 to visit my very “foodie” son while he is studying abroad there. I would love your input as to a good cross-section of restaurant types for the 3 of us while we are visiting. We will have Friday, Sat, Sunday and Monday for lunches and dinner. I would love to take him to at least 1 of the Michelin restaurants and some fun places as well. Looking at Chai Wong (he loves Asian inspired cuisine), Baest, Amass, Noma or Geranium, and would love your suggestions and opinions! Thank you so much for all your inspired eating and writing.
